This week's highlights

-I bought a pair of jeans this afternoon with a 29 waist size. The smallest size that I've fit in in no less than 6 years.

- My cross bike didn't sell on ebay...again

- The nutritional difference between Centrum and Centrum Performance vitimans comes no where close to justifying a three-fold price difference

- That douchebag from my history class that cheated the other week....did it again today. I wish he knew how much I really hated him.

- I'm waiting on three (3) new bikes to arrive in the coming weeks. Scale, Spark, and CR1 pro

(I paused during the writing of this post for a 2 hour nap right here)

- Matt and I thought we were getting pretty good at raquetball, until two days ago when we were dominated in a doubles game with two fat kids who play all the time.

- I heard that the Phillies won some big game or something, I was preoccupied with not voting.

I think this picture is awesome. Vertical pictures are my new trademark.

Your conscience eats at you and can't breathe without me

I'm a sucker for good quotes.

And benches painted with helpful bits about personal health

No position to give advice

Racquetball is sweet. But what makes it so sweet?

Maybe its being in a perfectly sealed, perfectly square white room with no windows.
Maybe it has to do with the intriguing geometry involved with hitting a ball around said perfectly square room.
Or could it be because the extreme echo makes it impossible to make out words, no matter how soft you speak.
How about the lack of ventilation/circulation leading to extreme sweating of the temporal area?
It could just be that chasing a ball around can be a fair amount of fun.

All of these are viable explanations for why I had to play today. I've been thinking about it since the second my eyes opened this morning. One hour was enough to wipe me and Matt out. Sweaty cotton is not cool. After 5 hours of hot summer riding in a chamois, it's easy to log in a good hour or two of loitering before starting the feel a tad gross but cotton...immediately appalling.

Tomorrow I'm heading down to the Philia area to participate as an athletic supporter (pun most definitely intended) for the Breast Cancer 3-Day walk. Both my mom and Jen are determined to walk all 60 miles so I'll be there for some motivation and picture taking. As long as I remember to get batteries...

Miscellaneous thought to leave you with- Jenny and I are getting pretty darn close to our three year mark. Feels like a long freakin time.

Titleless post

Ok, yeah. This lack of material is getting a bit ridiculous.

I wish I had some proper reasons/excuses about how I've been so incredibly busy with school work that I just don't have time to keep you guys entertained. But I'd be lying.
Today, though, that was almost true. In a very rare fashion, nearly the entire day was spent outside the room. Highlighting the day was a car ride to Harrisburg to check in on and distract Kyle and Ray, already hard at work doing nothing. We effectively wasted an hour of their time while loitering on the home gyms until we decided that our time could be much more well spent at the burrito joint down the street. The place only took cash so we had to hunt down an ATM. The kicker, there was an ATM conveniently hidden out of sight behind a refrigerator inside the restaurant. I love burritos. ATM service fees, umm, not so much.

Hmm. What else? Warranty season is more or less in full swing. One bike is completely in pieces and scattered about the contiguous lower 50 seeking maintenance that I, unfortunately, am not capable of giving. Hopefully one day, in the near future, we can all get together again and go for ride. That'd be nice. Another bike has found its way onto ebay and is actively searching for a loving family. Interested in helping? Adopt him here.

Everybody likes to ask how schools going. My answer's always the same. It's alright. I still show up to most of my classes, which is an inherently good thing, but that's about it. It seems like this stuff gets easier and easier every year. Is the educational system really working or am I just getting better at working the education system?

Bicycle riding status- 10 days off and counting. But I'm looking forward to get back to it aboard the new ride which in en route.
